After 10 years of silence . . .

. . . Soloflare Interactive is finally back.

To say it has been a long time would be an understatement. 

Do you remember ?

It certainly feels like forever since the last time SI was active on itch.io, which seems to have grown into a really mature and wonderful place for creative independent developers to publish their works.

Back in 2015, SI published the Silent Nights: Nightmare into darkness (SN:NID) series of EVN's to itch.io. SN:NID was the first official publication from SI, and also my first attempt at creating an immersive story-telling experience in the visual novel format.

The SN:NID series was developed with the excellent RENPY visual novel engine, and it was available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux at the time. 

While there were plans at the time to port the SN:NID series to mobile platforms (*Android & iOS*), sadly, this never materialized as I went on to focus on other independent projects. 

Shortly after this, the SN:NID series of novels were unpublished from the itch.io store, but I always had it in mind to come back and revive the project.

If any of you have sent me emails to my old Gmail account ? I apologize for not responding as I've been locked out.

SN:NID was and will always be my digital baby. It was a real 'first attempt' at me chasing my creative passions. And while I would have loved to flesh the project out at the time, the development costs, manpower, and other circumstances made it extremely difficult.

In 2023, the creative fire for the revival of the SN:NID project truly began to burn, and I put together this concept trailer:

Fast Forward to 2025, and I realize that an opportunity still exists for me to revisit this project and give it the love and attention that it deserves.

I'd like to thank all those who supported this project at the time. I wouldn't have done it without your support.

I wanted to let you know that SN:NID is currently being revived, and while I cannot provide much details on that right now, I can promise all the fans of this series that you certainly won't be disappointed.
